Caitlin and Alan finish The Whispering Skull by Jonathan Stroud. Lucy whips Bickerstaff, George comes back to life, and Lockwood opens up. Oh and Kipps survived. Apologies for Alan getting over a head cold in this episode.

Caitlin and Alan begin the end of The Whispering Skull when Lockwood and Lucy realize that George is not coming home. We go to the graveyard to find him, but the Kipps team is waiting there. Its time to gaze into the boneglass and find out all the answers!

Caitlin and Alan finished the Big Night Out by discussing masks, explosions, and the rules about adults seeing ghosts. Come jump into the water with us- because we have a plan! What could go wrong?

Caitlin and Alan go to the Fittes Ball and break into a library. The first half of the Big Night Out in The Whispering Skull is the discovery that Quill Kipps has been invited to this party- so it can’t be all that great! And he follows us home. But for a 50 the driver would…. crash into him??

Caitlin and Alan get locked in a dark room full of ghost rats. What could go wrong? Quill Kipps showing up is what could go wrong. It’s chapters 18 and 19 of The Whispering Skull! Caitlin and Alan read chapters 15-17 of The Whispering Skull. The Race of Dead Men are talking and we are listening. Jack Carver asks for some juice with his bogeys and we are not happy about it. Skull gets stuck in his bedroom- aka the stove. And we talk about real estate prices!

Caitlin and Alan read chapters 12-14 of “The Whispering Skull.” Lucy “helps” Flo Bones with a cold maiden, Lockwood wears Bermuda shorts, and George talks back. Meanwhile we worry about dogs that are reincarnated British queens, and the meaning of the word “jumper.”

Caitlin and Alan read chapters 9-11 of The Whispering Skull. No sleep for heroes when you get called into Scotland Yard to work with your rivals. The world is a dangerous place full of ghostly artifacts, skinheads, and dungeons and dragons. But don’t worry because Flo Bones is here to help. Or is she?

Caitlin and Alan take a trip to the graveyard in chapters 6-8. We get sensitive about the Sensitives, give advice on how to get rid of a dead body, and debate if it is monstrous to add sugar to hot cocoa.

Caitlin and Alan read Part Five of “The Screaming Staircase.” Inspector Barnes arrives with the DEPRAC cavalry to hand out adrenaline like candy and cover up the crimes of the rich. Lockwood gets his name in the papers, George gets celebratory doughnuts, and Lucy has a conversation with Skull!

Caitlin and Alan read chapters 20-24 of Part Four: The Hall of The Screaming Staircase. Lucy doesn’t miss a chance to insult George and Lockwood is suppressing his emotions. We find the screaming staircase- and blow it up! Lockwood solves the case, but Lucy passes judgement.

Caitlin and Alan read chapters 17-19 of Part Four: The Hall, of “The Screaming Staircase.” Lucy releases a ghost, Lockwood seems to know something, and George has tons of research. We take a trip to the countryside where drivers are crazy and groundskeepers are creepy!
